QSDK 1.1 Documentation |
These tutorials assume the user knows how to use 3D Studio Max or Maya. The aim of these tutorial units is to show how to use the authoring packages to create or prepare a scene for use with the QSDK, not how to use the third party tools themselves - for this information refer to the tutorial materials supplied with the software.
QStudio is the QSDK's own WYSIWYG world editor, and comes with its own tutorials.
3DS Max can be used to build and animate components and assemble multi-Zone scenes for export to the QSDK. Skinned and animated characters may be built in Max 4 and above.
Further details can be found in the Max exporter documentation.
Each unit comes with a Max file showing the scene as found at the end of the tutorial.
