Introduction

Aside from the alleviation of technology risk that comes with all good middleware, the QSDK also comes with documentation of our development processes, including complete production documentation for QDemo 2, to help your project get started with the QSDK.

Releasing Products using the QSDK

This section is provided as guidance only; for the definitive details on releasing products using the QSDK, please see your license agreement.

Users may ship commercial or non-commercial products using the QSDK free of charge on Windows and Linux PCs. Commercial grade support may also be purchased. A support contract is required to develop and ship console titles using the QSDK.

Qube requires that products released on the QSDK satisfy the following requirements:

  • The product and associated documentation must clearly display the PoweredByQ graphic.
  • The product and associated documentation must clearly display the wording "This product was built using Q from Qube Software".
  • Three months before a product ships, Qube Software must be notified by email that a product using Q is going to ship and on what date.
  • When a product ships, Qube Software must be notified in writing and by email.
