QSDK 1.1 Documentation |
The QSDK provides a complete development path for levels, Game Objects and scripts for their logic.
Building levels in QStudio is quite straightforward. Work your way through the QStudio tutorials, and you'll know everything you need.
To author Game Objects, you first need to set up a schema for the Game Object types. Then you can place them in QStudio as you see fit. The QStudio game design overview and accompanying tutorial provide more information.
For more technically minded designers, QScript is a full featured scripting language to drive your Game Objects. QScript can execute game logic as and send messages to and receive messages from your Game Objects. You should agree in advance with your programmers what the messages mean to your Game Objects. See the QScript documentation for more information.
